What you subscribe to
AlgoTrader is a library of NinjaTrader strategies that we create, maintain and evaluate. You get a licensed, compiled and protected strategy package to run independently in your own NinjaTrader Desktop. Source code is not included.
A subscription rents access to the software and its available updates. You choose the trading account, instruments and exposed parameters. AlgoTrader does not operate your account, mirror our trades into it or provide a signal subscription through this service.
Before you start
- Use NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.5.0 or later, or a later minimum version required by the specific release.
- Have access to your NinjaTrader account email. Use the same verified email for AlgoTrader licensing.
- Check the strategy's instruments, data, chart settings, account requirements and release notes. Your NinjaTrader software, brokerage and market-data arrangements are separate.
- Plan to test the exact release and settings in simulation before deciding whether to use a live account.
Get your first strategy
- Open Strategies and choose View algo. Review the strategy's details, performance history, description and requirements.
- Choose Get access to open its licence page. Sign in to AlgoTrader with the email used by your NinjaTrader account.
- Start the shared free trial or subscribe once to All Inclusive. There is no separate strategy purchase or activation.
- Wait for the licence page to confirm the required access. A native free trial can offer its first installer before its trial has started.
- Download the protected package from that licence page. Follow Download and install, then the strategy's own operating instructions.
If a strategy is not released yet
The public Strategies catalogue is for released products with working access. If an older link or a local preview shows Not released yet or Not available for purchase yet, you cannot subscribe to or activate that offer. A visible backtest, advertised free period or plan card does not itself grant access. Use only the actions that are available on the current licence or pricing page.

Do I get the strategy source code?OpenClose
No. You receive a compiled, protected package and can configure its exposed settings. A free offer or All Inclusive subscription does not include source code.
